* 1870 U. S. Census Sumner County, Tennessee, Second Edition.  The 1870 census was originally published by the Sumner County Archives in 1995.. This is a revised edition of the 1870 census. The names were transcribed as written, even though the census enumerators made numerous errors.  Realizing that some errors were so severe that readers might be unable to identify their family, the properly spelled surnames, along with the misspellings have been added to this edition.  For example,  the census clearly says Pastuerville and that is how it was transcribed in the first edition.  The Archives did not change the name but we added Baskerville--see Pasuerville to the index and also in the text so that descendants would be able to find their ancestors.  $25.00
