Planning and Zoning
The Sumner County Construction & Development Department is responsible for carrying out the activities of the Regional Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals. The department coordinates these activities in cooperation with the county's eight municipalities and their planning and zoning personnel.

PUBLIC NOTICE:
There will be a public hearing before the Sumner County Commission on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. (local time) to discuss and vote on the Castalian Springs Historic Overlay District Design Review Guidelines and Overlay District Map as developed by the citizens of Sumner County. The hearing will take place in the Commission Chambers of the Sumner County Administration Building, 355 N. Belvedere Dr., Gallatin, Tenn.
A copy of this request is on file in the Sumner County Construction and Development Office, Room 202 of the Sumner County Administration Building. This information can be viewed during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Anyone having an interest, desiring to comment or ask questions concerning this request is invited to attend this meeting or call the Sumner County Planning Office at (615) 452-1467.
