COMPILED SERVICE RECORDS

The
Sumner County Archives has 80
Rolls of
microfilm that contain the compiled service records of Sumner County soldiers in
the Civil War. These names were
taken from the book, Sumner County in the Civil War by Edward Ferguson.
For a copy of the soldier’s service records (Sumner County only) we must know the soldier's name along with the number and/or company name. Please note that these are compiled service records, not pension applications.
The Sumner County Archives does not invoice. Payment must be made in advance for research and copies. Once the Sumner County Archives has received your payment in full your copies will be mailed to you.
